Asset manager “Jagdfeld Real Estate” has now refurbished 4,100 m² of new space for its tenant IU International University and let it on a long-term lease. The Berlin campus of the private university of applied sciences has thus grown by almost 70% from 5,900 m² to almost 10,000 m².

“We tailored the space in our ‘PLAZA Frankfurter Allee’ precisely to the needs of IU International University back in 2020. In doing so, we did nothing less than turn a hotel into a university – a prime example of successful transformation. The great success of the IU in our building is therefore no coincidence and is proof of our strength in offering our customers the best in each case,” says Benedikt Jagdfeld, head of asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate, which manages the property on behalf of an institutional investor.

“Jagdfeld Real Estate is currently having the 5th and 6th floors of PLAZA Frankfurter Allee converted into training rooms. The IU International University moved into its Berlin campus there at the end of 2020 after Jagdfeld Real Estate turned a hotel into a university following more than a year of conversion work.
