Jagdfeld Real Estate manages "Forum Steglitz" shopping centre in Berlin
New success for Jagdfeld Real Estate: The retail experts from Düren have taken over the Berlin shopping centre “Forum Steglitz” as of 1 January. Real I.S. Jagdfeld Real Estate has been entrusted with the centre, property and letting management as well as technical property management and building services for the property on behalf of an institutional fund.
“Our expertise, innovative strength, pragmatically short communication channels and the experience of our clients that we deliver in everyday life what we promise in the tender are our recipe for success,” says Benedikt Jagdfeld, CEO and owner of Jagdfeld Real Estate, delighted with the new mandate from Real I.S.
Jagdfeld Real Estate is thus once again expanding its presence in the capital and is now responsible, also as asset manager, for a total of five retail properties in Berlin with the three shopping centres “Rathaus Center Pankow”, “Forum Köpenick” and “LIO Lichterfelde” (no asset management) as well as the mixed-use “PLAZA Frankfurter Allee”.
The “Forum Steglitz” in Berlin
Opened in 1970, “Forum Steglitz” was one of the first shopping centres in Germany to be reopened at the end of August 2022 after a thorough revitalisation and expansion. The new mixed-use property now covers more than 35,000 m², around a third of which is now office space, and has 578 parking spaces in two multi-storey car parks. Its high local supply character, including a premium fitness studio, rounds off the comprehensive offer of the very conveniently located centre in Schloßstraße, one of the busiest shopping streets in Berlin.
The largest office tenants are HISolutions AG and the Free University of Berlin. The largest retail tenants are Edeka with its premium flagship store, Bauhaus with a city centre format and Lidl. In the leisure sector, The fitness factory GmbH offers a wide range of activities above the rooftops of Berlin-Steglitz.
